Town of Chapel Hill Meeting Clip

The Town of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, first benefitted from WikiMapping when Toole Design Group created a project for the bicycle plan.  Today, we are working with Chapel Hill to get ongoing public input.  I was alerted to a public meeting and saw that I could clip out a part of the meeting.

This creates some challenges that differ from a bike/ped plan.  For one thing, the users should not need to know about GIS.  Secondly, we need to generate an ongoing report that can be used by staff.  As the project is set up, staff receive an email each time someone fills in a survey.

A third issue that we need to address with this project is the anonymous use of a project at a public computer terminal.  Generally, people can login with their email addresses, but the anonymous input is valuable too.
