Two Years!

We are celebrating 2 years today. 

WikiMapping has come a long way since John and I met and began working together on August 27, 2012.  At the time, we were working with Toole Design Group on a public input website for Howard County, Maryland.  After that, John and I focused on creating a map based platform that would help planners through a subscription service.

This may surprise you

We work about 9573 miles apart (Queensland and Pennsylvania), but it seems like we are in the same room.  We’ve never met in person, or even video Skyped.  We’ve spoken for less than three hours total via Skype.  Yet, we have an ongoing dialog that is probably something like an internal dialog that a runner has throughout a marathon.

WikiMapping is bigger than us

We are grateful to everyone who is using WikiMapping.  We seem to have a symbiotic relationship with our clients.  We are grateful to our families, for whom WikiMapping has turned out to be a long term investment.
