Here is the process for transferring data collected from your wikimapping project to any geographic data program (GIS).

  1. Login to your administration panel
  2. Select comments manager
  3. Select export kml.

Now you will have a kml2.2 file that you can open directly into Global Mapper, QGIS, Manifold, MAPublisher, ArcGIS or any other GIS that opens kml 2.2 format.

Once the file is open, you can save a point file and a line file in any format.
