Vermont state bike plan – “How do we compare?”

Here’s a link to the TV News feature that I saw online today about the Vermont State Bicycle Plan.  The WikiMap, set up by Sam Piper at Alta Planning, was shown.

We are grateful that WikiMapping is used by top ranked bicycle friendly states and platinum ranked cities.  Vermont is currently ranked 17th by the League of American Bicyclists for 2015.  Delaware and Minnesota, which both use WikiMapping, are ranked 2 and 3.  And Wisconsin is #9.

Just because Vermont is not ranked in top 10 doesn’t mean that don’t want to bike there.  I’d love to take a family bike trip there.
