Welcome
Thank youfor taking the time to provide your input on our regional non-motorized network. Whether you walk, bike, or use transit, we're interested in where you're going, how you're getting there, the obstacles you face, and what you think our region can do better at.
Please 'log in' and use the map to place your 'Routes' and 'Points'.Route Types My Route: Routes you usually take to work, school, the store, with your dog, etc. Problem Route:Routes that you may take but have issues along the way (i.e. lack of facilities, maintenance issues). Proposed Route:Routes thatyou would like to see in the future (i.e. a shared-use path between communities).
Point Types Destination: Your destinations or locations to note on a bike/pedestrian map or wayfinding signage. Problem Spot: Locations that cause problems for you or others (i.e. lack of a crosswalk or curb ramps). Opportunity: Locations where you see as an opportunity to enhance non-motorized transportation (i.e. benches, bike racks, safety treatments). To add routes or points, use the menu at the top of the map. Draw and ‘double-click’ to complete your route. Please respond to the corresponding questions or add brief comments/descriptions, so we can better understand your use of non-motorized transportation. Our study area includes all of Kootenai County.
Add as much or as little as you like! If you're interested in what other residents have said, you can switch on all other routes and points using the 'layers/header' at the top right of the map.
Thank you again for your time and input! -Kootenai Metropolitan Planning Organization (KMPO)
